Keep Life and Health in Perspective when Assisting those Dealing with Loss
Repetition is often the best teacher, I have heard. So, how many movies or shows have you seen that portray a character not handling loss in a healthy way? I am guessing a lot. Don’t let Hollywood define your response to loss and the grieving process.
It is true that when in crisis we tend to default to either our past or those subconscious truths we picked up along the way. Don’t let fictitious characters on the big screens steer you astray. Stuffing, ignoring and belittling the process of grieving is harmful to your physical and emotional well-being.
Keeping life and health in perspective is important both for you and those you know who have experienced loss.
